Doctor Ian Verrall is an Ipswich-based Orthopaedic Surgeon with subspecialty training in Shoulder and Elbow surgery.

He has training in arthroscopic procedures, such as rotator cuff repair, shoulder stabilisation, and elbow arthroscopy, as well as primary and revision joint replacement of both the shoulder and elbow.

Dr Verrall graduated from James Cook University Medical school in 2011. He completed his Orthopaedic surgical training in Queensland in 2023.

In 2024 Dr Verrall travelled to New Zealand to undertake further sub-specialty training in Shoulder and Elbow surgery at North Shore Hospital in Auckland, before returning to south east Queensland.

  • Please wear comfortable, loose clothing with appropriate undergarments to allow your specialist to examine your affected body part.

You (or your contact person) will receive an automated text message 1-2 days prior to your appointment. Please respond to this text to confirm. If you need to reschedule, please contact our practice to organise a new date. We appreciate advance notice of the need to reschedule to allow patients on our waiting list the chance to utilise the appointment spot.
